Made in the EU, shipped from the EU. Lithium batteries are classified as dangerous goods — the single hardest component to import. Sourcing from Latvia through our Estonian warehouse removes customs, air-freight restrictions and the paperwork that comes with them.
Three types of battery pack
Power and endurance pull in opposite directions. A cell chemistry optimised for high discharge current cannot also hold maximum energy per gram. Choosing the right side of that trade-off is the first decision.

Why battery sourcing is different
Every other component on your bill of materials can be air-freighted without much thought. Lithium cells cannot.
Lithium batteries are regulated as dangerous goods. Air transport is restricted by state of charge and packaging, UN 38.3 test documentation is required, and shipments need declarations that many suppliers handle badly or not at all. Importing from outside the EU adds customs clearance to that — and a battery held at a border is a project held at a border.
Perkons manufactures in Latvia and handles regulation-compliant logistics as part of the process. We hold and ship from Estonia. Both inside the EU, both inside the customs union — no clearance, no import duty, no six-week uncertainty.
For programmes with European content requirements, the packs are manufactured in the EU, which matters increasingly in defence and public-sector procurement.

Heavy-lift and agricultural drones
Spraying and cargo platforms draw enormous current in short bursts and cycle their batteries hard. High-power packs with cells rated for sustained discharge, and a BMS that survives the duty cycle rather than degrading through the season.
Long-endurance surveillance and inspection
Here every gram of battery competes with every gram of payload. High-energy-density packs maximise runtime per kilogram, which on a fixed-wing or VTOL platform translates directly into area covered per sortie.
Ground and surface robotics
UGV and USV platforms have different constraints from aircraft — usually more space, but harsher vibration, wider temperature range and longer duty cycles. Custom form factors and modular packs let you use the space you have.
Prototyping and evaluation
Standard solutions exist for exactly this: proven configurations available without a development cycle, so you can fly the airframe before committing to a custom pack design.

What is the minimum quantity for a custom pack?
Development runs from prototype quantities upward. Tell us the quantity you need and the timeline, and we will confirm what is viable.
Can you ship lithium batteries internationally?
Yes. Lithium batteries are dangerous goods and require compliant packaging, documentation and state-of-charge limits. Within the EU there is no customs border, which makes European delivery straightforward. For destinations outside the EU, tell us where and we will confirm the route and lead time before you order.
High power or high energy density — which do I need?
High power if your platform draws large sustained or peak currents — heavy lift, spraying, high-torque robotics. High energy density if the constraint is flight time or range. Send your current draw and required runtime and we will tell you which side your platform sits on.
